Plant Sociability 101
How we shop for plants is backward. The primary metric we should be gardening by is plant behavior, or, how they move around and reproduce. Taking a little time to learn about plant performance beyond the typical nursery tag will help us design more climate resilient, manageable, and functional landscapes. While this presentation will be a deeper dive and get a little nerdy, everyone will benefit from seeing plants in a new way which will empower us as gardeners supporting both aesthetics and wildlife.
