Scholarships

PRESENTED BY DEEP ROOTS

Thanks to the support of Izel Native Plants and the Missouri Department of Conservation, Deep Roots is pleased to offer scholarships to Plan It Native 2025.

Izel Native Plants is underwriting a limited number of scholarships to up and coming professionals in the native plant industry. They offer these scholarships to increase the professional capacity of native plant professionals in our region.

The Missouri Department of Conservation is also supporting a limited number of scholarships for native plant professionals in the public and nonprofit sectors.

In making award decisions, the committee will consider audience diversity, previous participation with Deep Roots KC and at Plan It Native, and financial need We will accept applications and award notifications made on a rolling basis through January 31, 2025, or until scholarship funds are depleted.  Questions?  Please contact Stacia Stelk, stacia@deeprootskc.org.
