Will is a landscape designer with the integrated site design firm SWT Design, where he is leading firmwide design performance initiatives and BIM transition efforts. His project work draws inspiration from broader land narratives, developing deeper relationships to nature in the spaces people live, work, and play. His active projects include ecologically conscious park design, environmental education, sustainable food production landscapes, O+M planning, and nature playscapes. From rural working landscapes to city parks, Will is driven by passion for native plant ecology, environmental history, and regenerative design strategies. Following his Master’s capstone project in the Flint Hills of Kansas, Will was a 2020 Tallgrass Artist in Residence as part of a cohort based in Matfield Green, KS. He continues to cultivate his love for the prairie by volunteering to get his hands dirty with seed harvesting or planting days whenever he can.
