Biography
Tim McCoy serves as the District Conservationist for the USDA-Natural Resource Conservation Service based in Paola, Kansas. Before arriving in Kansas, Tim was a Soil Conservationist in Vermont for five years. Through NRCS, he provides technical and financial support for farmers and other landowners in Miami, Johnson, and Wyandotte Counties that wish to adopt conservation practices on their properties. Tim is deeply committed to protecting the environment and being responsible stewards of our resources. His background in Conservation Biology and field research in the Adirondacks gives Tim a unique perspective on the many issues encountered in Kansas.
