Kirsten Theye

Kirsten Theye is a normal human—not an expert!—who is slowly converting her grass into pollinator gardens, most recently with the help of one of Minnesota’s fabulous Lawns to Legumes grants. Originally from Kansas City, Kirsten is a professor of Communication Studies and the Director of Social Activism at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. When she is not attending various events related to her busy children, Kirsten enjoys creeping through the backyard looking for monarch caterpillars, cooking for family and friends, rooting for massive snowstorms, and growing an absurd amount of sweet basil.
