Biography
After graduating from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO with a BA in Facilities Management, Cutter joined his family’s business Gale Communities, where he began managing a commercial office/retail complex in Lee’s Summit. Gale Communities is an eco-conscious residential-commercial developer/custom home builder based in Kansas City and has received more environmental preservation awards than any other developer in the Midwest region. Fast-forward five years, and Cutter has expanded his role in the company and is now overseeing development of “The 6 Neighborhoods of Winterset.” Cutter has taken pride in the continued pursuit of seeking and implementing sustainable development practices. This has allowed him the opportunity to experiment using native vegetation in open greenspaces of the neighborhood via butterfly gardens, native pastures, and storm water management. Cutter is an active Urban Land Institute member and Rotarian who enjoys any opportunity to serve his community as well as Mother Nature.
