Biography

Christine is the Associate Director for the Monarch Joint Venture, supporting the program team working on science, education, and habitat initiatives for monarchs and pollinators across the U.S. Born and raised in central Wisconsin, Christine completed a B.A. in Spanish and Music from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Since then, she has gone on to work for nonprofits and social enterprises across the United States and in Central America. Her work brought her to Guatemala, where she spent a number of years working in experiential social justice education, community-based development, and nonprofit management. Christine earned an M.Ed. in Environmental Education from Western Washington University where she explored how we bring hope into education around social, environmental, and climate justice.
