Inclement Weather Plan

Plan It Native 2026 Inclement Weather Plan

We are very excited to enjoy two full in person days with all our attendees, speakers and exhibitors at Plan It Native!  Being as it is February in Missouri, we want to be prepared.  If we might encounter inclement weather, here is our plan.

We will follow the facility closure announcements of the Kauffman Conference Center.

If the Kauffman Conference Center closes, we will shift the conference to a virtual platform.  We will announce the change via email (using emails provided during registration) and on the conference app.

Keynote presentations and concurrent sessions will be held virtually on Zoom.  A Zoom meeting will be available for each conference room, and all concurrent sessions and keynoteswill be available.  You will be able to move between zoom meetings just as you would between rooms to select which presentations you would like to attend.

If any of our regional or national speakers encounter weather related travel delays, we will livestream them to the Kauffman Conference Center for their session.

If we are required to move to a virtual platform on the second day of the conference, we will embark on a virtual tour of our exhibit hall during our scheduled Exhibit Hall and Interactive Experiences segment.  Each exhibitor will have the opportunity to share with you on Zoom and you will be able to submit questions to them.

Virtual presentations will not be recorded.  Viewing will be available by live attendance only.

As with all preparedness plans, we are hopeful this is not necessary and look forward to seeing all our attendees in person on February 11th and 12th!
